The Gypsy Cwtch is off-grid so you can come away happy in the thought that you don’t have to be tied to the essentials of modern day life. You’ll live your holiday more akin to Romany folk back in the day but still with the creature comforts we can’t do without.
The woodburning stove (fuelled with wood from our farm) heats the gypsy wagon whilst cute battery fairy lights and candles provide a romantic glow.
The eco-cabin has PV panels on the roof which generate just enough electricity for powering the fridge and lights. Hot showers can happen any tine with solar water heating and a gas boiler for back-up (just in case the weather hasn’t been it’s usual glorious sunshine).
The Swedish compost loo (in the bathroom) is much like any other and there are no smells thanks to an in-built fan.
All this is set in 40 acres of organic land where we grow our own veg and produce is nearly always available to buy.
